SA 3.4.0 Upgrade

I'm thinking about trying out SA 3.4.0 on Centos 6 or 7 if I have to.
Just wondering - is it worth it? And is Redis available and how hard is
it to actually make it work?

Wrt redis, yes, it is and it's really easy to set up, even in replicating setups (master/slave or sentinel).
